2023 CALENDAR

Referencing the sunset and sunrise pattern, this semi circular calendar is a dynamic and visual engaging calendar.

Poster is 18x24 inches printed on matte card stock. Developed through a typography course, the calendar is an experimentation with form and communication. With heavy use of lettering, the poster is meant to be analysis. In order to find the date and weekday the viewer must interact with the calendar moving along the sunset/sunrise pattern. It allows comparison of holidays and monthly timelines. 

The poster was subject to multiple phases of iterations. This resulted in many major and minor changes in the orientation, compositions, and display of information. The resulting changes lead to the final poster which used the best elements of each to produce the simplest, untraditional calendar.
